Being successful allows you to fulfill the desire to give something back.
One shining example is the IPC Cares voluntary employee participation campaign that lends financial and emotional support to The Parent Project for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
IPC International Corporation is proud to be a responsible corporate citizen by establishing IPC Cares.
The IPC Cares focus is to improve the lives of some special children afflicted with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This terrible disease is a progressive muscle disorder that steals the mobility from young boys. As these boys age, their muscles slowly stop working, preventing them from doing things as simple as rolling over in bed, lifting a fork, or throwing their arms around someone they love. Unfortunately most of these boys will be wheelchair bound by their early teens.
Due to the generosity of our employees, together we are beginning to make a meaningful difference!
IPC Cares was established as a volunteer program exclusively for IPC International employees. Realizing the importance of this endeavor, IPC employees across the country have embraced the program, and unselfishly volunteered their time, energy and resources to make an impact in the lives of some special children.
IPC Cares works with the Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy, whose sole mission is to mobilize people in the United States and worldwide in a collaborative effort to enable people with Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophy to survive, thrive and participate within their family’s communities and beyond.
The parent project Muscular Dystrophy is a 501(C) 3 non-profit, tax exempt organization. For additional information please visit their website at www.parentprojectmd.org
