Bannockburn, IL. In the span of one week IPC International celebrated a milestone anniversary and honored top organizational performers.

For 30 years IPC’s Property Security Directors and Field Management personnel have been key contributors to unlocking our success. Each year IPC honors these men and women who have provided exemplary levels of customer service, business acumen, operational efficiency and crisis management on behalf of our company to our clients.

IPC’s “Distinguished Service Award of the Year” is a special award honoring exceptional efforts by IPC Officers who have saved lives, exhibited outstanding acts of bravery or those who were instrumental in assisting law enforcement. This year the award was presented to Mike Brown/Jersey Gardens, NJ and Adam Mitchell/Westfarms CT. In addition to outstanding acts of individual service we also honored property security teams with “Circle of Excellence” awards for areas including Vehicle Safety, Workplace Safety, Zero Turnover. Our teams also earned separate awards for Best Training and Operational Image.

The drive and commitment exhibited by our personnel to jump into challenging situations on short notice or to help insure that the grand opening of a new property runs smoothly are recognized with our “Go Team” and “Firefighter” awards. We honored GO Team members from across the nation along with the 2008 Chief Firefighter, Alan Crane.

Last year we introduced the “Essential Key” award to recognize individuals who have consistently operated at a high performance level and provided valuable or innovative contributions to the company. This year’s winners are Chad DuBose, Jade Hirt, Ryan Kaplan, Lynda Niemotka, Joe Zderadicka and Sharon Zenner.

During the ceremony Howard L. Kaplan IPC’s President and CEO was presented with a special 30 year tenure gift. Back on June, 14th 1978 he opened the door to a small office unit in Northfield, Illinois.  From that day forward an international security company was created that now serves over 500 shopping centers and employs thousands of people in the United States, United Kingdom and the isle of Puerto Rico.

In the closing stages of the ceremony the anticipation was high preceding the announcement of the “Manager of the Year” President’s Award winners. As the highest level of corporate recognition these coveted awards honor IPC’s Property Directors who have done exceptional work in preparing and motivating officers while insuring that their team and their property is a true representation of the exceptional service levels and professionalism IPC represents.

The 2008 Managers of the Year are Rob Baccichetti/Boyton Town Center, FL, Richard Moore/Jamestown Mall, MO, Horace Harris/Quaker Bridge Mall, NJ, Mike Brown/Jersey Gardens, NJ, and Vince Cicchini/Palm Beach Mall & Sawgrass Mills, FL.
